Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Qatar. This position is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in logistics and trading services, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and supporting revenue growth in the local market. Daily tasks include conducting market research, generating and qualifying leads, preparing proposals, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure solutions align with customer needs.
The role also involves attending client meetings, presenting Solarline Group’s services, tracking sales performance, and providing feedback to management on market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities to identify opportunities and support data-driven decisions.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to present services, negotiate terms, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess proven Lead Generation experience to build a robust pipeline of prospects and convert them into long-term clients.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to manage client relationships, respond to inquiries, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, trading, or related industries is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and manage multiple accounts or projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM or sales management tools; fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
