Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments to vendors while accurately tracking customer payments.Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements daily, identifying and resolving any discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy.Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, to provide key insights into restaurant performance.
Oversee inventory accounting, tracking food and beverage costs, and conducting regular stocktakes to minimize waste and optimize profitability. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is a strong plus.Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years specifically within the restaurant, F&B, or hospitality industry.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite, along with experience working with restaurant POS systems.Strong understanding of restaurant-specific financial metrics, including food cost percentage, labour cost percentage, prime cost, gross margins, and outlet-level profitability.Hands-on experience with online food delivery aggregator accounting, including platforms such as Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem, Noon Food, and similar platforms.
Experience reconciling aggregator sales against bank settlements, commissions, delivery charges, discounts, promotions, refunds, VAT, and other deductions.Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies between POS sales, aggregator statements, accounting records, and actual bank receipts.Experience cleaning up historical aggregator accounts, correcting incorrect mappings, clearing unreconciled balances, and bringing aggregator receivables/payables up to date.
Ability to maintain accurate outlet-wise and aggregator-wise accounting records and support month-end reconciliation and reporting.
