About the role
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant cum Cashier to support our finance team with daily accounting and administrative functions. The ideal candidate must have relevant experience in the UAE, strong basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to assist the finance department in a structured and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the finance team in daily accounting tasks
- Assist in data entry, invoice processing, and payment follow-ups
- Maintain organized records of receipts, payments, and transactions
- Assist with bank reconciliations and petty cash management
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment matters
- Prepare basic financial reports under the supervision of the senior accountant
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all accounting records
- Assist in VAT documentation and filing support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance
- 2–3 years of accounting experience in the UAE
- Familiar with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems)
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and document management
- Basic understanding of UAE VAT is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
