Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior Planning Engineer to join our Project Planning team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering graduate or junior professional looking to build a career in project planning and scheduling within the construction and interior fit-out industry.

The successful candidate will support project planning activities, monitor project progress, prepare reports, and assist senior planning engineers in maintaining project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and updating project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and other departments to collect project updates.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Update project dashboards and planning trackers.
• Support project monitoring and controlling activities.
• Assist in identifying schedule delays and reporting progress variances.
• Maintain accurate planning documentation and records.
• Perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Ensure timely reporting to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
• Basic knowledge of project planning and scheduling.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 (Mandatory).
• Good command of Microsoft Excel.
• Basic understanding of project monitoring and project controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
• UAE experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Fresh graduates with Primavera P6 knowledge are encouraged to apply.
