Site Engineer

We are hiring an experienced and energetic Civil Site Engineer to join our team in Dubai.

Role Overview

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for supervising daily construction activities, coordinating sub-contractors, maintaining high quality standards, and ensuring strict adherence to approved drawings and local authority guidelines (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA). You will report directly to the Project Manager and serve as the main link between design plans and site execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Execution: Oversee daily construction activities to ensure progress meets master schedules, structural specifications, and safety standards.
• Setting Out & Surveying: Verify levels, alignments, and positioning using surveying instruments relative to approved site plans and affection plans.
• Quality Assurance & Inspection Requests (IR): Prepare and raise Requests for Inspection (RFIs/IRs) for consultant approvals across concrete pours, reinforcement checks, and structural works.
• Subcontractor & Workforce Management: Direct sub-contractors, foremen, and site labor forces to maximize productivity and prevent material wastage.
• Authority & HSE Compliance: Enforce Dubai Municipality and MOHRE Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines, including strict adherence to summer midday-break regulations and site permit-to-work systems.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate daily site logs, track material deliveries, flag design discrepancies, and prepare progress updates for project management.

Requirements

• Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Equivalency from the UAE Ministry of Education is a plus).

• Experience:

3 to 6 years of site execution experience within commercial, residential, or high-rise construction projects in the UAE.

• Local Approvals & Knowledge: Strong familiarity with local authority procedures (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, Dubai Civil Defence).
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret complex CAD drawings, MEP coordination layouts, and structural details. Hands-on experience with surveying equipment (Total Station/Auto Level) is required.
• Certifications: Dubai Municipality (DM) card or Society of Engineers (SOE) membership is strongly preferred.
• Driving License: Valid UAE driving license is required.
• Languages: Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Hindi/Urdu or Arabic is a strong advantage for site workforce management.
