To support this mission, Syngenta's North America Product Safety team is seeking a PS Operations Data and Digital Specialist in Greensboro, NC.

As a PS Operations Data and Digital Specialist, you will be responsible for exploring and implementing innovative digital tools and solutions to drive business improvement and operational efficiency.

  • Drive digital innovation and continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies and identifying scalable solutions that improve Product Safety operations, processes, and business outcomes.
  • Collect, curate, assess, and maintain scientific data from databases, study reports, public literature, regulatory reviews, and other sources in consistent, usable formats. Ensure data quality, traceability, and fitness for downstream scientific and operational use.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality data and digital solutions, including databases, applications, automation, and reporting tools that enhance efficiency, data quality, and user experience.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into practical solutions, providing clear communication, technical guidance, and effective collaboration throughout solution development and implementation.
  • Lead digital and data improvement initiatives from concept through adoption, including project prioritization, delivery, change management, lifecycle support, and measurement of business value.
  • Serve as a digital and data subject-matter expert, building capability through coaching, documentation, training, and collaboration across Product Safety and relevant partner functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems Engineering, a scientific discipline with relevant digital/data experience, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in digital solutions, data management, technology, automation, application development, or a related area.
  • Demonstrated project management and project leadership experience, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholder needs simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex business needs and translate them into practical technical requirements and solutions.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience using digital, data, reporting, or automation technologies, with working knowledge of tools or programming/scripting languages such as SQL, Python, R, Visual Basic, Power Apps, SharePoint, Smartsheet, or similar technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, build strong stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous improvement while handling sensitive or proprietary information appropriately.
  • Candidates must be already located in the United States and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (Includes OPT).

Qualifications

  • Experience developing or supporting databases, applications, automation, reporting, or other scalable digital solutions in a scientific, regulatory, Product Safety, or similar technical environment.
  • Experience leading digital transformation, process improvement, or technology adoption initiatives, including stakeholder engagement and change management.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for scalable solutions and improved ways of working across teams or functions.
